DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

The Guam Preservation Trust will consider applications from individuals with a demonstrated broad knowledge of Historic Preservation and a comprehensive knowledge of Guam’s heritage.

Copies of the Qualifications and the Position Description may be obtained at the Guam Preservation Trust Office located on the 2nd floor of the Historic Lujan House, 167 Padre Palomo Street, Hagåtña, Guam, or click on the attachment Development Officer Position Description.

INVITATION TO BID

Project No. HS15-01- Rehabilitation of the Guam Legislature (Guam Congress Building)

Sealed bids in duplicate for the Rehabilitation of the Guam Legislature (Guam Congress Building), located on Chalan Santo Papa, , will be received at the Guam Preservation Trust Office until Friday, January 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Contract time is three hundred sixty five (365) consecutive calendar days. All bids must be accompanied by a bidder’s bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid amount. Bid security may be a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check, made payable to the Guam Preservation Trust. A non-refundable amount of Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) payable to the Guam Preservation Trust is required as payment for each set of Bid documents which can be secured from the Guam Preservation Trust office, 167 Padre Palomo Street, (Historic Lujan House) in Hagatna, Guam, on or after December 5, 2014.

The Guam Preservation Trust hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that all bidders will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, and national origin in consideration for an award.

The Guam Preservation Trust reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any imperfection in the bid proposals in the interest of the Guam Preservation Trust.

A PRE-BID CONFERENCE has been scheduled on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Guam Preservation Trust office located at 167 Padre Palomo Street, (Historic Lujan House) in Hagatna, Guam. All prospective bidders are requested to be present.

RFP15-01: Architectural & Engineering Services to Repair the F.Q. Sanchez School Facility, Umatac, Guam

The Guam Preservation Trust (GPT) is soliciting proposals for the services described above.

Proposals must meet specific requirements. The Scope of work is available at the GPT office, located in the Historic Lujan House, 167 Padre Palomo St., in Hagåtña, Guam or the GPT website: guampreservationtrust.org.

Two sets of proposals must be submitted to the Chief Program Officer, at the GPT office no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2014.

Architectural & Engineering Services to conduct a Feasibility Study for the Reconstruction of the Palacio located at the Plaza de España, Hagåtña, Guam.

The Guam Preservation Trust (GPT) is soliciting proposals for the services described above.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

National Register of Historic Places Nominations

The Guam Preservation Trust is seeking proposals from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake the documentation required for three National Register nominations.

The Guam Preservation Trust will evaluate all timely proposals to ensure that all required submittals have been included in responses and that all responses meet the Minimum Evaluation Criteria. Proposals that are deemed to be complete shall be presented to a selection committee.

SUBMITTAL INSTRUCTIONS
The Guam Preservation Trust staff will review all Qualification Packages submitted for this project. To be considered as a qualified respondent, three copies of the Proposal Package must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked RFP: NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES NOMINATION – (Please specify RFP Projects by listing )

The Guam Preservation Trust reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, to re-solicit proposals, to waive any irregularities, to negotiate pricing and to select the proposal deemed to be in the best interests of the Trust. Issuance of this RFP does not obligate the Guam Preservation Trust to award a contract nor is the Trust liable for any costs incurred by the proponent in the preparation and submittal of the proposal. All proposals must include the following information in the order stated below:

PROPOSAL FORMAT

  1. COMPANY PROFILE:
    Describe the background of your company and why it is qualified to provide the requested services for the Guam Preservation Trust.
  2. UNDERSTANDING OF THE PROJECT:
    Describe your understanding of the project(s) including a brief overview of your plan on accomplishing the services being requested by the Guam Preservation Trust.
  3. PROJECT TEAM:
    Describe the qualifications of the key person(s) who will be responsible for providing the requested services. Resumes for key person(s) are required. Limit resumes to two pages for each key person listed.)
  4. EXPERIENCE:
    Provide evidence of similar, past experience that demonstrates your ability to successfully provide the services being requested in this RFP, including successful National Register of Historic Places Nominations. Include names and contact information from past projects for reference purposes.
